Default 01 Blazer with a list of ABS codes

Hello all,

My daughter has a 01 Blazer 4D 2WD with a list of ABS codes. From what I have searched so far, the most likely issues are the solder contacts inside the ECBM. Sometimes you can go a day and not see the ABS and Brake light lit. Other times, they will stay on for days.

I did check the 2 pin connector that is a possible cause too and it looks fine.

Here is the list of codes I pulled today. 265, 241, 245, 251, 246, 242, 252.

Thank you for any advise!
Steve

Yes, looks like you have an EBCM issue. I would:

Check the ABS fuse 60A in the underhood fuse block

Check the module ground which is G106 behind the left headlamp

Check the connector to the module

If that does not do it then you can remove the module and reflow all of the large solder joints or send it in for a rework or get a replacement module.

I've been having ABS problems on my 2002 for the past 3 years now. Has been next to impossible to diagnose. I don't remember the codes, but the main issue has been something eletrical circuit with the main module, and then later something with the passenger-side speed sensor. I replaced both speed sensors and not the ABS light is intermittent.
