01 Blazer White Smoke only under load???
Hi I just joined the forum and am looking for some good advice! I have a 2001 Blazer with 147k on it with no problems other than this. It runs great smooth idle and no problems! My pickle is it smokes when pulling a trailer (single Axle) empty even and only at higher rpms on the highway. It never smokes with everyday driving and it only does it on the highway. I have noticed some leaking from the hoses by the radiator (could be oil cooler lines) they have the rubber tubing on them. I don't know if it could be the leak in the lines spraying under load on the exhaust then burning off.. I don't think its the tranny because she does not slip and oil pressure is always good. Sorry for the book! Let me know if you have had this problem and if so what was the fix! Again thanks, this is a great site!

Its just white that I can tell.. If it were a head gasket would it not smoke at high rpms at lower speeds as well? It only does it on the highway when it downshifts to what I think is third and Im pulling the trailer or its at a constant higher rpm for a little while.. I hope its not the gasket
