01 Chevy blazer Running/stalling issue
Hello my wife has a 2001 chevy blazer 2dr ls. 4.3l 4wd.
2 weeks ago after about a drive of 2hrs in weather over 75 degrees it stalled out on her and refused to start. It was taken to a shop they said they would look at it the next day. Next day came around and they tried to recreat the problem and they couldnt drove it around get it to recreate the problem. Shop recomended replacing the ignition modlue which we did. It has since ran fine till today when after idling at a light we went to drive off and it stalled out and would not fire up again. Would crank over but would not start. Check the fuel quickly and there was preasure not sure how much. Got it towed to the shop took about 3 hours to get there when it got there it proceded to start w/o any problems . Only thing both days had in commen where they where both over 75 degrees and the sun was out in full force. I dont have the best confidence in this shop however they are the only ones locally that we can get to by using a taxi and the dealer has over a week waiting. Full pump was repalced 6 monthes ago and other then that this thing has run very nice with no problems. only has 70k milliage on it. Nothing was flashing on the dash and no check engine lihts where on. Any ideas are apreciated and thanks in advance

sorry yeah you can hear it prime. Like i said it has only doen it twice both on days where the sun was out in full force and the tempature was above 75. Dealer by us didnt have the ac delco in stck and told use 3-4 days to get it. Very small town only palce with the pump was napa and it is our only car so we kinda got stuck.
You should really test the fuel pressure to determine whether it's the pump or some other item causing the problem.
Got it back from the shop again today they couldnt get it to recreate the problem after driving it for over 4 hrs and letting it idle for 2. The fuel presue was 58psi while idling and around 59 around driving. But today was not over 65 degrees and the next time it is supposed to be over 65 isnt in site.
