Default 1995 Chevy blazer 4.3 stalling and not staying running.

I have a 1995 Chevy blazer 4.3 CFI with some running issues. At first it would drive and then when it warmed up it would start rough accelerating and just not acting right. Now I drive it for a little bit then it stalls when I'm coming to a stop. It takes forever to get it started. Sometimes it start up then immediately dies. After it cools off I can crank it up and runs fine. And now just recently it doesn't run good at all even when the engine is cold. It spits and sputters and is not driveble enough to see of it stalls. The CPU is throwing a obd 1 code number 54. It has new distributor rotor and ignition control module. I'm in desperate need to get this thing fixed.
