Default 01 needing rear bearings replaced

So my blazer has been making this humming noise coming from the rear. I took it to my buddy's shop today and was told one of the rear bearings (if not more) is going out and if I am gonna replace one, I might as well replace them all if I'm gonna open up that bag of worms. My buddy and I will be doing the labor ourselves and using his shop. He told me I should be able to buy a "rear end bearing kit" that would contain everything that we need to do this. What size rear end am I looking for the kit for? It's an 01 4.3L 4x4 with the three switches (2hi, 4hi, 4lo). Any help is appreciated.

Ok so apparently there is a placard in the glove box that should tell me the type of rear end on the truck. I will look at it this evening. Is there a key online anywhere as to what all the 3 digit codes mean?

*edit* never mind. I found this. I'll leave it here in case anyone else might be looking for it later.
