Default 02 chevy blazer cranks but won't start

Our 02 blazer would lose power everyso often going on the interstate. the day it died it would idle rough and would not go up hills. I got it to the shop they said to replace the spark plugs, wires, distrubtor cap and ignition coil. So we don't have the money for the shop to do the work. SO we replaced the ignition coil, wires and cap. we check the shradeer valve for pressure and it didn't have any, and the starter was staying engaged. Got an OBD2 and was getting P0453 fuel pressure sensor high. changed the fuel pressure sensor. thats when I noticed the wires on the battery side to the engine harness had burned though it was like 8 wires. So I cut all the bad out and pliced them back together. Had to recharge the battery at this point. so not getting any codes. I have fuel pressure now the starter is still sticking and It still will not start.

  1. Could you further explain the starter "sticking"?
  2. You need to perfom the 10 min fuel pressure leak down test
  3. check for a strong normal spark rythym at a couple of spark plugs/
