Default 04 car alarm problem

i just bought a used 2004 blazer with 89,000 miles on it. Runs GREAT!! only 1 tiny problem.........the car alarm keeps randomly going off and im tired of waking up at 1 in the morning to shut it off.'

is there anyway to disarm the alarm?

there used to be a Passlock Bypass module that you could buy from the dealer-it figures that they would make something to disable/bypass the problem (but, you pay for it, of course) instead of fixing it.
i'm not sure if it's still available, last i heard, GM was discontinuing it.
i checked around to see if i could find something available in the aftermarket, and found this @ commando car alarms and vehicle security.
here's a link to the module:

hope this helps you out (or at least gives you some direction to go).
