Hi all,
I really need some help. My buddy owns a '05 auto. Today I was changing the trany fluid, shoulda taken off the trans cross brace.
I assume I broke the 1st-2 shift solenoid. I noticed a electrical connector that was attached to a hair thin wire dangling.
Now it doesn't shift into 1st when in drive or when manually shifted. It takes off in 2nd and still goes through all the gears.
Is all I need to do is replace that solenoid? Thank for any help, I feel like an *** now that his truck drives worse than before.
