My blazer is idling just a hair rough and when I go to take off the truck stumbles under acceleration in the lower RPM range of each gear. I'm getting no lights or codes. I just bought this about a month ago. Had to replace the intake gasket and water pump. Timing is dead on. Starts right up. I know it needs a little tune-up. Spark plugs have been replaced already as well as oil change and filter. I checked for leaks at the CPI unit before reassembling the plenum and didn't see any leaks from the fuel pressure regulator. EGR valve looked good, but I haven't put a tester on it. Could this be as simple as needing just a good old tune-up? My number 4 wire was shorting to the exhaust shield when I was timing the engine, but its been temp fixed until I get wires, distributor cap and rotors this week. Had carbon tracking on the distributor cap. This puppy hasn't had a tune-up in quite some time. Just wondering if a tune-up should fix the problem or anything else i should be looking at?

My 2000 did the same thing, try cleaning the MAF sensor in the intake tube real good with electrical cleaner. It was almost free and it worked wonders for me.

Appreciate the help, but mine has a MAP sensor. Wish it were so simple of a fix for me though. Thanks again!
