Default 1995 LT Blazer question

Hey guys. Im new to the Blazer forum (and chevys in general)

I just got a 95 Blazer for work use for free.
The damn thing is MINT. I couldnt believe it. The motor doesnt even have one damn drop of oil on it even with 200k miles on it. During idle you could bearly hear her running. It almost looks like the previous owner dumped a new motor in it.

Anyway, the exhaust sounds like complete garbage. I havent lifted it up yet but as far as i can tell, the piping down there is rusted pretty badly and im sure there are holes down there.
Going to need to get me a new cat and possibly a new muffler. Thinking of Flowmasters 44 series for the mufler but what cat should i go with?
Im really not interested in beefing this thing up too much since im not using this truck for anything other then work and the occasional off roading when im upstate NY.

Any help on a good cat would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Yea, it was free. I killed my car during a really bad storm. Figured i would go buy a truck. Just before i was goin to pick up a F150 FX4, he offered it. So i took it.

It just has some minor crap that needs to get fixed but ive found heaps of info here. last thing left is to replace the exhaust system because its shot.

Ill have to take some this weekend. Have to use my girls camera because mine has a busted screen right now.

Its red with that silverish body molding, 4 door 4x4. No leather (thank god). interior color is a light tan color.
Honestly, the most impressive part about her is probably the motor and how god damn clean she looks. Im still in shock.

Going to be taking her upstate NY in a week to test her off road capabilities [sm=smiley1.gif].

welcome to the forum..i would prolly just go with oem if your not that interested in beefing it up..if you are planning on beefing it up go with a hi-flow cat converter you def will feel the difference..have one on mine along with flow 40 series and my exhaust sounds bad a**

My son's exhaust is definitely in need of being replace eventually. I'll be taking your advice blazinblue. Hey, can you load in a sound bite of your exhaust, blazinblue? Some people use youtube.com and link to that just for the audio.

Share more about what you heard about the high flow catalytic converters.
