1996 Blazer AC issues
#21
Ok so I feel like a total ninny, but here is what this week of figuring things out has turned into. So my boyfriend and I got a ArticFreeze smart charge gauge to recharge my system so we didnt over fill or under fill the freon after we replaced the switches. We still couldnt find what was causing the problem. I broke down and took it into an AC shop. The was nothing wrong with the system. The STUPID gauge we got was faulty and I only had very little freon in it! Thats all I needed. I was mislead by a stupid gauge that was supposed to make it easier to do. All is well with my AC now and it is blowing ice cold air. By what the mechanic said I was the 10th person this month that was fooled by that gauge! Wish I would have know lol. Thanks for all your help! I really appriciate it! Happy posting!

Thanks for the warning about the gauge. I liked the old systems where you had a small sight window in the line and all you had to do was look for bubbles.
