Default 1996 Blazer wiring issues

I have lost power to several fuses in panel. These fuses "power the brake lights, the power windows and locks,,,and the rear hatch ...It is intermitent .. If I use a fused "jumper" wire to "feed" the fuses .. everything works as it should.........However I wish to try to repair the issue ...If I can....I used to drive it daily......The engine went for a dump.....and I replaced that engine .. However the problem was appearing prior to engine swap....
I am wondering IF it is a problem with the start switch..?? OR if I have MORE troubles....
I left the fused wire connected...( forgot all about it ) I used a KEY ON power source.,...and after three days the battery was dead.....
I unhooked the jumper wire...and boosted battery.. Anyways.. I have not had a chance to go much deeper than pulling ALL the dash apart and following the wires.......In short I NEED HELP

Sounds like it could be an ignition switch failure...

on the drivers side inner fender under the hood behind the ABS system is a power distribution block. coming from that are several fusible links. it would be worth it to check all those.
