thx for the pic but im still unsure of where its located? sorry im still learning, but is the brake boost line coming out of that big black round thing on the firewall? is the line I have from the lil line to the left of it?

If possible: can someone show me exactly where EACH end of the little vacuum line goes? like take a picture and use paint to draw a red arrow or something?

In the first pic that Spree linked you can see your same line coming off that big black round thing on the fire wall (brake booster) and disappearing under a bunch of wires and what not above the intake. I would draw on that picture for you but I'm on my phone and don't have my computer with me and its all good don't be sorry i didn't know what anything was before i got on here either :P

Edit: Ok here is the best i can do for now, i had to figure out my new phone lol

I should have put a coin by it or something to show scale but this hose is small like not very much thicker than a pen or so. Like the smaller vacuum lines

Take a couple of shots of the area you found it. Close up and back away some. In fact put some kind of mark on it and lay it in the spot then a couple of shots slowly zooming in.

This is a good suggestion! I looked all over my engine again and can't find a 1/4" line that looks like that one.

-ok so first off I cleaned the EGR valve (pretty dirty) but noticed my gasket didn't have a screen like the one in the DIY tech article on here, that bad?
-tried propane test but didn't find anything
-took two pictures, first to show the area where hose was found just laying on other lines. and 2nd to show a better location of the annoying noise.
EDIT- The last picture I just took, I found that the washer at the end of the brake boost that meets the intake is ripped. Could this cause that noise?? will be replacing it shortly

that could make the noise. Put your hand over the hole and start it to see if that is it. Its casuing a vacuum leak regaurdless. Have you tried running it and spraying starter fluid around there to try to find a vacuum leak. Please dont smoke while doing this, lol
