Well I posted a couple days about my blazers gauges acting funny. I've decided that they are most likely functioning properly. But now she's running cold, like the line between 100 and 210. My heat works great so it can't be thermostat. I do know that the radiators got water in it... And a bit of green coolant unfortunately (I'll be replacing that soon).

Ill look into that, my other thread is still active and like i said on there, im probably gonna be doing a pretty big restoration soon, (paint, body work, engine and tranny rebuilds etc, maybe even a new engine if i can find a decent deal, but anyways) if i do that im not selling her if i can help it. so then it wont matter i can buy a new gauge cluster then and just keep a log of "body mileage" i guess i can call it Thanks a lot, in just a couple days ive noticed this forum is going to be a huge help. And im sure it will continue to be during my restoration.

I use the term "actual" mileage. I replaced my instrument cluster 3 years ago. New odometer reads 55,100 and I add 68,828 to get actual mileage. I kept the receipt and wrote down the difference to the tenth of a mile. If I ever were to sell it I'd be honest but it's scary that for a $25 used instrument cluster my Jimmy looks like it has less than half the miles on it.
