Default 1997 Blazer door chime, light issue

Hello,
I hope you all are well. Naturally, my wedding ring fell off my finger and dropped (I did have my finger in the window crack)down the window slot & feel into the door. I pulled the door frame off at the bottom and tried to get my ring by sticking my hands under the grey door frame and trying to reach in to get my ring. I had to tear away a factory piece of brown thin paper the encompassed the door. Well at the time I didn't get my ring & when I got back into my car to drive. The door chime, overhead light & the light under the dashboard are all staying on. I must have disrupted the door sensor and the car is thinking the door is still open while it's closed. I have tried to take the frame off and fix it, but I honestly have no clue what I'm doing. Thankfully I was able to get my ring, or my wife would of had my hide. Any help, is truly appreciated. Take care all.
Thank you,
Jackson

The door switch should be located off the side of the dash. You may have dislodged during your search.

When you say off the side of the dash where exactly do you mean? Say in relation to the fuse panel?

PS - Thank you so much! Thank you for being there!!

It should be just below the fuse box door. Here's an illustration:
