1997 blazer fuel pump wiring

Default 1997 blazer fuel pump wiring

my 97 blazer does not start unless i get under and push on the fuel pump wiring im sure its a wire or a plug but would like to know if anybody has a wiring diagram for the fuel pump wiring?will run fine once it starts! also do i need to drop the tank to get to the wiring on the pump?

Default RE: 1997 blazer fuel pump wiring

I would guess that it is a ground problem. Maybe wiggling the harness somehow affects the ground and once power is flowing, it is not as much of a problem.

Here is the schematic:


For some reason I cannot find the location of the G402 ground which services the fuel pump.
