HI my name is Jim and I've owned my blazer for about a year now. Other than it being possessed and having numerous little intermittent problems that come and go its run fine and I love it. About 3 months ago I started having problems with it misfiring all the time so I did a complete tune up plugs, wires, rotor, distributer cap, coil, fuel filter and air filter-problem solved- it ran great for 3 months. Now the misfire is back, only differently. Now it only misfires in the morning when its been sitting for a long period of time when the engines cold and/or its damp or rainy. Once the engine reaches normal operating temperature (after about 6-7 miles) the problem goes away and it runs fine for the remainder of the day? I'm telling you its possessed! ,I need help but my question is do I need a mechanic or an exorcist?

Concerning your problem, it may be due to the quality of the parts that were installed. One thing that these engines don't seem to like is aftermarket ignition components.
