Sorry if there is already a thread posted about this. Anyways I have a 98 Blazer with 4WD and V6 Vortec. Yesterday I was driving it and when I was pulling out of the car wash it quit on me... The engine was rebuilt this past winter and new fuel injectors were also put in it. I put a new fuel filter on it today.. thinking that filter being clogged was the problem.. The Blazer would start and run for about 30 seconds, then start to bog down, and eventually just die.. It seems like the engine is getting gas but not enough. Anyone have any suggestions on what it could be?

I haven't been able to get it there yet to check for any active codes... What could I do to check and see if one of the sensors got wet? Also if one of the sensors did get wet, how would I go about by drying it out or whatever else I can do to fix it?

Alright well is there anyway to tell or where to look to figure out about the distibutor if it got wet or not? If it helps further describe anything that may be the problem: we've been able to get the blazer started and run but it will run for about 5 mins or so fine but if I give it gas to accelerate it will bog down and cut off... Also it sounds like the pump is running really loud and constantly while the engine is running.

Check your fuel pressure from the schrader valve by your distributor cap... that will let u either confirm or eliminate the pump as your problem rather then guessing. If you did get water in the cap the truck would more then likely misfire at idle as well.
