I think I'll call the bomb squad to come get the canister I have and dispose of it and pick up a new one on the way home tonight. One with a trigger instead of a twist valve... Thanks! I'll post tonight if I have A/C. If I don't get exploded...

Im not sure if these are orifice tube systems (maybe someone knows), but it could be clogged and not allowing the freon to cycle through the system. Orifice tubes do go bad eventually and need to be replaced.

I would let a shop handle it. Have them shoot some dye in the system to find where your leak is. Recharging isn't too expensive.
