Default 1998 GMC Jimmy 4x4

Just purchased a 98 jimmy and suddenly have a noise coming from rear end hoping it is the parking brake but how much of a pain is it to change the rear wheel bearings and which one to buy the axle tag is not on the diff to tell me which i have code c or k any help will be appreciated greatly i'm not new to working on cars/trucks just new to this vehicle

HOW many miles? did you check gear oil?

gear oil is clean and full 130,??? miles tearing the brakes off tomorrow to inspect further

fairly low miles, doulbt its a bearing in the rear axle unless its run outa oil.

Passenger seal was shot backing plates non existent parking brake rubbing replaced both wheel bearings and seals while it was apart no more noise
