Unhappy 1999 Blazer Wont Start-Odd Issues

My 1999 blazers brake lines needed to be replaced because of no brakes. Went through car wash-they must have been corroded and they stopped working. Friend took it to fix. Removed brake lines, was unable to hook them back up because of wrong fittings. Went to pull it out of shop until fittings could be obtained and it wouldn't start. No fuel pressure. Fuel pump would work but only with a jumper wire. Also, there are no headlights. NONE. No DRL or manual headlights but the high beam light stays illuminated on dash, and will not go off. Is it an electrical issue? Nothing seems to add up. Did something possibly get unhooked or knicked with the brake lines being changed? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!

Definitely an electrical problem. If all of the electrical issues, (fuel pump, DRL's, headlamps, high beam indicator) happened at the same time, I would suspect the ignition switch. Fairly common for the contacts to burn and not make a good connection. This link should help explain: https://blazerforum.com/forum/articl...-switch-33465/

Thanks! But is there any way of testing the ignition switch to determine if that is indeed the culprit?

Remove the dash panel below the steering column to expose the connectors from the switch to the vehicle harness. Then probe each circuit and check for proper voltage in each key position. There are ~12 wires and that's the only way to check it. The schematic on the link that I posted will help.
