Default 2000/2001 Fuel Tank Question

What is the reason my 2000 Olds Bravada and my 2001 Chevy Blazer have different fuel tanks? Both tanks are molded plastic of some type. The 2000 Bravada has the larger tank hose, for filling, and a smaller hose, right next to the fill hose, that vents some where. The 2001 Blazer has the larger fill hose and nothing next to it, or near it. Both images are the 2001 Blazer. Both have a vent near the front on the top of the tanks. Anyone know if they have a different injection type, or what? And are the fuel pumps the same?
Thanks,
RTJ49

I added images of the 2001 blazer fuel tank. Any ideas for the difference between the 2000 tank and the 2001 tank?

Here are a few images of the 2001 Blazer fuel tank removed. It is different than the Bravada tank.
