Exclamation 2000 4dr 4wd... How do i get Keyless entry on my truck?

i have the ls model. i wanted to get keyless entry on it. it look like it might have had it before. i just bought this truck and would like the convenience of just pressing a button to unlock it. doesnt have to be original keyless. any suggestions?

I did OEM keyless on my Blazer. You need a donor BCM with keyless entry, the airbag module from same donor truck, and matching RKE modules. I documented my experience on here. Do a search for RKE and me as the author.

Do you know for a fact it doesn't have the remote keyless entry from the factory? I just ask because I recently purchased a 98 Tahoe & when it didn't come with the remotes I just thought it didn't have the factory keyless entry when in fact it did.

On your Blazer check on the label in the glove compartment & see if it lists "AU0" as one of the option codes. If it does, it has the factory keyless entry & all you would need is a remote. Ebay is a good place for used remotes.

I'm glad someone mentioned the option codes. I was going to, but I couldn't find what they were for a blazer. I used to have a Z71 and checked to see if it came with keyless entry. It did, and I bought a remote from Ebay like you suggested to the OP. It was well worth the 40 bucks.

I couldn't remember the RPO code. That's how I ID'd the donor truck.
