2000 blazer D (drive) light flashes

2000 blazer D (drive) light flashes
The other day when I was driving I noticed my D on my gear selector flashes while driving. It does it usually when I am coasting. If I am on the brakes or stopped it doesn’t do it. It also doesn’t do it while under acceleration. Also, sometimes when I stop and put it in park the engine stalls. Any ideas would be most helpful
