Not sure if this will help. But my 2000 was doing something like what you are discribing. and it is cheap. When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? My problume was solved with this, just in time to not cancel a dirtbike trip!! WOOT!!!

I have the same problem with my 2000 blazer. any ideas? i've changed the cap/rotor/plugs/ignition coil
