Default 2000 blazer no power going to mass air flow

Hello I’m new to this site and im a union carpenter not a mechanic whatsoever. I had an electrician test my fuses and the wires going to my maf sensor everything checked out expect the power wire. Not getting any power at all to it . Code p 102 is why the check engine light is on. Runs like crap and barely wants to start up . Rough idle all the above. How do I fix this ? Please and thank you !

I grew up in a family of carpenters.

what year is the truck? Where have you measured no power so far?

Sorry, your model year is right in the title. Doh!

The power for the MAF is supplied by a pink wire which is fused by Eng1 Fuse, 10A in the UHFB. I would check that fuse then check 12V at the sensor to chassis ground not sensor ground. If you have power to chassis ground but not sensor ground then you have a bad sensor ground. If you have a good fuse and no other 12V sensor problems and no power at the sensor then there is a short or break in the wire. Turn the vehicle off and pull the Eng1 fuse, disconnect the sensor then test resistance between the pink wire at the sensor and chassis ground. Then you will know if its a short or an open. Then follow the wire harness from the sensor to the UHFB and look for any problems. If there is nothing obvious then you can either painstakingly open the wire looms along the path looking for the fault or you can run a new wire.
