Unhappy 2000 Blazer no start

Really hoping someone can give me some advice on tracking this issue down.

A few weeks ago my 2000 Chevy Blazer LS 4x4 for the first time had the issue where it blew the 10 amp crank fuse. Well I really thought nothing of it at the time, just thought the fuse went bad, changed it out and have continued driving it since then.

Yesterday my wife took the Blazer to the store and when she went to start it after leaving it was a no go. Instantly she went to check the fuse and noticed that it had blown again. My wife put in another 10 amp fuse, when she attempted to start the truck it blew the second fuse. At that point she attempted to put in a 30 amp fuse and it still would not start the truck. Well my brother showed up to help her and (I don't know why) decided to jump the Blazer with one of those portable jump starter kits.

My wife called me and I had her have the Blazer towed back to our home. I started looking it over myself when I got home from work. When I started checking the fuses under the hood I noticed that the large fuses which I believe should be hot all the time were not showing 12V at all no matter what. I could get 12V on the mini fuses that would show 12V with the keys turned to on position but the engine not turned over, including the crank. Also, there are no lights on the dash other then the check engine light now.

I just do not know which direction to go in with this issue.

Well I went this morning to look at the battery fuse. Checked it while it was hooked up and it showed an open circuit. So I changed it out for a new one. No change, still the same.

Just a little update. Since changing the battery fuse, all of the other fuses are now back to showing 12 volts. Still no lights on the dash other than the check engine and when you turn the key to start the Blazer the most you get is the clicks of the relays.

After changing out all of the fuses in the fuse box under the hood and the mega fuse for the battery I went ahead and purchased a new battery. Blazer started right up without a hitch.

I am going to investigate that crank fuse blowing. I know there is a lot of information here already about that.
