When the pump activates, you should hear the fuel rushing through the pressure regulator, which is inside the plenum.
I can hear it. I have been up sense 9:30 pm last night. Worked two jobs before doing this. Eyes kinda blurry and tired. My bad did not crank. It leaked down to 56 pdi stopped. My 15 yr old boy did this while I was at work last night. No pressure now.

Well we took the line after filter and the fuel fly's out, but with the gauge on there the needle does not even move, They gave me a bad tester. Taking it back.

Well we have gas pressure. We have spark. Some one broke the screws on the distributor. So I had to buy a brand new one. Still same thing. So I'm thinking and the more I hear it turn over I'm thinking it is not in it's right gear slot. So in the morning I'm going to put #1 cylinder top DC and see where the rortor is pointing.

The two plugs on the left had extensive fuel on them. The others were dry.

With new distributor in and #1 piston top TDC the rotor points tp #1 position, where it says 6 on the outer rim of the distributor. Starting to think blown motor. Unless the injectors are plugged?

What is the fuel pressure and leakdown at the service port AND at the fuel filter outlet?

The pressure gauge we rented stopped working. Be getting an other one today when I go shopping with the boss :-) Then give a retest.

As for installing the distributor: The marks on the crankshaft line up twice for each one revolution of the camshaft. Before you removed the old distibutor, did you line the rotor up with the "6" on the distributor housing? If not, how did you determine that #1 cylinder was at TDC of the compression stroke?

Took a picture of the rotor position. And then put the new one back in looking like that. Then put the 1 cylinder up top and the rotor pointed to the 6 mark on the distributor. Did that cause some one broke the screw holes on the distributor wanted to make sure it was in right.

I thought it maybe been 180 degrees off. Doing a pressure check with a dif tester.
