2000 blazer zr2 clicking under passenger dash??? Please help

Post 2000 blazer zr2 clicking under passenger dash??? Please help

I just bought truck saw that there was a recall on the hazard flasher does anybody know if that will stop this annoying clicking noise under the dash

Nope, thats the flasher relay.
Clicks anytime you use the turn signals.

Yes but it constantly clicks and when I hit the brake it stops!

Well, that's wierd.
Try changing the flasher and see if it stops?
Can't be no more than a $10 part.

What is the multifunction swich? And is a cheap fix

About $75-90. new
You might could get one from the pull-a-part for less than half that, but it might be bad also.

100% sure it's the multi-function switch.

That's the switch that controls your wipers, turn signals, wiper fluid, etc etc. eBay about 100 bucks new. Pull your glove box down and put insulation in there, that will quiet it right down.

Mine went and would go off randomly. Than I just put bubble wrap and insulation in past the glove box and it quieted down tell I got another one.

I had the exact same problem! Multifunction switch is your answer I swapped it out for a new one and problem solved.
