2000 no start issue
hello all, im new here. i searched through the forums and couldnt find a problem like mine so i guess ill start a new post if thats ok.
i have a 2000 blazer 4dr 4wd with the trailblazer package. came home the other day and it was running normal. went out a few hours later and it wouldnt start. first thing i did was listen for the fuel pump and it was buzzing, then i took apart the quick-connect on the out side of the fuel filter and hit the key again and gas came out so i know the filter isnt plugged up. next i tested the pressure on the schrader valve and it was reading about 60 every time. next i checked for spark, no problems there either. i disconnected the sensor on the air intake(map or maf sensor?) and i poured a little gas in the throttle body or whatever you want to call it. the truck fired on that little bit of gas then died. i put a new cap, rotor, and wires on and still no change. plugged in the code reader and no codes came up.
any ideas what my problem could be? it almost seems as if something is telling the solenoid not to open on the fuel injection, thats all i can think of. other than replacing every sensor one at a time, i am stumped how else to diagnose the problem. i would gladly sacrifice a little gas mileage by just unplugging something if i could get it to run again but i dont know where to start. dont want to walk to work too many more days since i live near buffalo ny and its the coldest time of year here right now.
if anyone has any ideas, i am all ears. thank you in advance for any replies i get.

did you do a leak down test ?
96+ Fuel System Diagnosis - Blazer Forum - Chevy Blazer Forums
this thread should cover how to do a leak down test
also what brand ignition products did you use ?
these trucks are picky for these kinda things

When our 2002 did that and would hit a bit if I poured some gas into the intake an new fuel pump got it back to running. I agree you have something keeping the 60 PSI supply of gas from leaving the injectors.
