2000 S10 Blazer climate control issue

Default only get hot air to come out defrost
hi . guys , I am new to this site . hope to get some help . I have a 2000 blazer , my problem is I only get hot air to come out of the defroster when I switch to the a/c vent I get cool air not hot. any suggestions. thanks

Sounds like the blend door motor is working as it moves to select warm or cool air, but gets switched incorrectly by the HVAC controller.

Do you have auto or manual HVAC?
