Hey guys. I'm replacing my intake gasket on my blazer, and while I'm in there I figured I should look at doing some other maintenance and get ahead of some stuff. Im by no means experienced, but I'm trying to learn and just want to see what if anything I should replace or look at while I'm at it. Thanks

 

If you mean the lower intake manifold gaskets then make sure to use the best Felpro gaskets, torque according to spec and be careful to use the RTV sealant properly. There are threads here.

Might be time to consider the upgraded fuel spider while the upper is off but that not necessary unless there are issues.

Suggest replacing the valve cover gaskets and intake plenum gaskets. I think I spent more time cleaning the intake runners than anything else, although getting the valve covers clean took some time as well.
Make sure all the hoses are all good. Probably replace all the fuel line O rings.

Up-grading the spider is your call; a bit expensive, and only if you plan on keeping the Blazer for many years to justify the $$$.

Hopefully you are aware of that lower power steering pump bracket bolt that has to come out to move the steering pump out of the way to get the left valve cover off.

 

Yes I bought the felpro steel and rubber set. What brand should I trust for the spider? And I'll definitely do those o ring and valve covers. My kit came with them anyways.

 

I used AC-Delco. It costs a little more, but I hate doing a job twice because I bought cheap parts.
