hello just joined this forum read alot its great!. just bought a 2000 ZR2 blazer for my son v6 5 speed 3 button,the problem is with the 4wd when trying to put into 4wd it will blow the 4wd fuse 10 amp on inner drivers side of dash will have battery light on dash and gas gauge wont work. and the lights in 3 button switch goes dead vehicle runs fine.this is second time in a week last time im not shur what we did but it got the lights on and gauges working then i tryed the 4wd.same thing happened . but i think the 4wd isnt working the vac lines look like all ok can hear the trnsfer case motor engaging the actuator under battery works ok any help? thanks

 

Hmm.. Try taking out the 4x4 switch in the dash and make sure it is pluged in all the way and hasent come loose. If it is good, it has to be a wiring issue. Something deeper in the harness.
