hey guys this ones odd, my dad has an 00 zr2, at take off it has a dead spot then its fine, basically if you floor it, it bogs then is fine, does it under load and in park/neutral . i scanned in for codes and found nothing.
any ideas let me know. thanks in advance.

 

sounds like an airflow problem. Check your air filter, possibly clean your MAF. Also check the PCV vent tube on the backside of the intake...before I put my new intake on, that PCV hose would come off everyone in a while and add lots of unmetered air into the intake causing the deadspot.

 

thanks man, he called me last nite and said cleaning the maf helped out. ill make sure to check that pcv hose, that totally slipped my mind.
