20000 Blazer

Default 20000 Blazer

I purchased this car 2 years ago. Just finished a messy divorce 28 years She a drug addict. Divorce is expensive.


By experience what should i be looking at. This is what I ahve done so far

I have replaced parts from experience wear or were worn out and bad. it has 149,000 miles on it.

I am going to take this Blazer camping this summer with my girlfriend so reliability is important to me


Basic Tune up

Changed oil filter air filter
Changed all the fluids and serviced *** needed.
Basic tune up Cap rotor ignition module Coil wires and spark plugs
Fuel filter was replaced
Replaced brake pads and rotors on all 4 corners
New tires are done also


Drive Train
Replaced the Transmission
Had a bad axle and Axle bearing on passenger side.
Doing drivers side this weekend

Engine

Did the intake gasket. It needed it
Bad fuel pump also was replaced
Replaced the serp belt
Replaced water pump and hoses
Bad fuel injectors and replaced it

Suspension and steering
All the shocks were replaced
Replaced all the ball joints
Replaced the steering components Gear box idler arm end links. Except the power steering pump
Going to Replaced all the brake calipers and hoses. Driver side was sticking and the hoses was very cracked. decided to do them all.


To Do

Front control Arms the Bushings are shot.
