let me start at the beging first i had to change all brakes then something didn't feel right so i changed front calipers. End up changing master cylinder. drove fine down the road at first then i was driving a long speedo hit 50 the speedo started acting up abs light came on. now i have abs and parking light flashing scanned it got for abs was problem with the rear speed sensor no speedo at all. The scanner also threw a code vss low or no voltage. I can manually shift it from first to second but that is it. i changed both speed sensor in transfer case check the conectors at speed sensor checked all grounds i can find still no luck. any help

What transfer case do you have? Depending on that, you could have 3 sensors in the transfer case, only one of which is the VSS.

there should be a half dollar size metal tag on the transfer case-near the fill plug. It'll say...made by New Process Gear, Syracuse, NY-but also on that tag is the transfer case model number...Jerry

ok
will the transfer case number be visible on the t case. I'm going out of my mind so any help you could give me at this point i would be happy

How about this. How many buttons do you have on the dash switch. 4-buttons == NV236 which will have 3 speed sensors in the transfer case. Front prop, rear prop, and VSS. 3-button == NV233 which will only have the VSS.

The sensor i changed first was by the exhaust the second one was above the front drive shaft. when i used the meter on them they showed good

Why did you replace them if they showed good? Did you test the 3rd sensor?
How did you test them? The appropriate way to test them is to leave them installed and connect a multimeter across the pins in the sensor, then spin the driveshaft (truck on jack stands). With the multimeter set to V-AC scale, a good sensor should output 0.5-3.5V-AC.
I believe that the VSS sensor is located on the driver side of the rear output on the back of transfer case.
