2001 Blazer no start
This is my son's truck he started noticing the truck getting harder to start. came out to go to work one morning and it wouldn't start. Truck does have fuel pressure and spark any help would be appreciated
What does harder to start and would not start mean? It cranks but will not start or it won’t crank? What is your battery voltage at key on? If it cranks, do you have 1” of strong blue spark at the plugs? Did you perform the fuel pressure test in the sticky and if so what are the results? Any codes? How does it run when it starts?

Sorry for the late response. The truck cranks but will not start. I have replaced the coil twice. Spark didn't seem right to me looked yellow with a little bit of orange in it. Fuel pump at the Schrader valve is holding 58 pounds 10 minutes later it drops down to 53it's a cheap eBay fuel pump so I replaced the fuel pump. With a carquest pump it's holding about the same amount of fuel pressure. The truck has had a complete tune-up on it within the last year and a half out of the blue it just fired up when I tried to start it last night. Let it run for about a half hour dropped a bottle of injection cleaner in the tank. Shut it off let it sit for 10 minutes it started right up. Let it sit for 2 hours and it seemed to have a little bit of a problem starting but it did fire up once it was running I could shut it off and then it started right back up with no problem. Started it this morning and had the same reaction again. Thinking I might have a clogged fuel filter
There is an encyclopedia of info here discussing failing fuel pumps, sometimes a few new ones in a row. The old rule of thumb used to be AC Delco or Delphi only. A recent thread discussed problems with a Delphi (although my Delphi has 100,000 miles on it) so AC Delco only may be the safest approach. Your leak down may be marginal. That can be the pump, injectors or regulator.
Have you checked fuel pressure when it wont start?
Have you checked spark when it cranks but wont start?
Whats the history with the other ignition parts (that's also an AC Delco only rule of thumb) ?

I built the truck for him about a year-and-a-half ago when I picked it up somebody robbed the fuel pump out of it and it had a blown motor. Put the fuel pump from eBay in it at that time. Put a 70000 mile motor in it. Put a brand new tune up on it spark plugs wires cap rotor. At the same time. Truck ran great up until two weeks ago. He complained about the truck losing power seems sluggish he said. Then the truck gave him trouble trying to start would turn over but not fire up right away. It progressed to the point where it would not start.I changed the coil twice because I thought the first one I got was bad. I changed the fuel pump for the same reason but didn't notice much of a pressure difference between the two of them. The fuel pressure at the straighter valve is at 58 when it won't start and I have spark when it won't start
