I have a 2001 Blazer that has key-less entry every time I lock it the doors lock the horn blows and the security system turns on. After that if I pull on the door the security system goes off. I would like to set it so that when I push the lock button once it locks the door and if I push it again it beeps the horn and sets the security system. I have been looking every where for the way to set it to do that. I have read my owners manual and the Chilton repair book with out finding anything. If anyone knows how to do this it would help me a lot. Thanks!

 

perhaps try and search for the "how to set a clicker" to your system... maybe reasigning it will help...

 

This is the way my 2002 system works. Your '01 might be designed differently, but change the battery and see if anything changes.
