So last month my fuel filter went out, I knew this because I watched gas pour out every time I turned the key over. Finally got that fixed and then my battery died while trying to start it back up. It just would not catch at all and run. As if I was out of gas, even though my gas hand is always off a bit, I knew there was gas. So it sat here for a month in my driveway. Bought a new battery and now it doesn't die when I'm having to turn it over and over and over until it finally catches and runs. I don't even hear my fuel pump kicking on whenever I turn my key over anymore. Once I get it running and driving, it is sort of sluggish. What do you all think?? Thanks!

Have you checked the fuuel pressure?
If not there is a schraeder valve for testing fuel pressure on the fuel line close to the firewall behind the alternator on your car
There is a black plastic cap on the valve you will have to unscrew

Sounds like your pump is having issues.
Read This thread It should be helpful.
If you didn't find anything wrong with the fuel pressure it could be a distributor related issue or even something wrong with your fuel injector spider.

I assume you are talking about where someone came and unscrewed that cap and let the air out of the line?? It ran for a day or so, then back to same issue.

The two things I can think of are the spark plugs and alternator. If you're having problems cranking it over - that sounds like it could be either. I might be off base here, but it's that or no pressure to the fuel line. Good luck!
