Hey all, new owner of a Blazer.

Bought a wholesale 01 Blazer from a dealer and didnt give much thought to the differences in the grille and headlights until I got it closer to inspection and now want it to look right.
The front bumper appears to be 2001, it has the rise to accomodate the turn signals.
The Blazer was involved in a front end wreck apparently and whoever owned it rebuilt it with an old Jimmy. All good and fine, problem I have is the radiator core support seems to be from a 1997 or so, from what I can tell. So, 2001 replacement headlights with the retaining clips wont work, it currently has the older headlights that or bolted on and are attached to the whole bracket.

Soooo , IF I get a grille from 2001 will the old style headlights fit correctly, since I can only mount them...if not, if I have to get the same year blazer grille to accomodate the lights, with the grille fit into the body ok?


The previous owner used 10mm body bolts to attach the GMC grille to the tabbed slots the chevy grille uses.
