Default 2003 Blazer 4wd/heater issue

I recently had the intake manifold gasket replaced. As soon as I got it back
the heat mainly blows out of the front vents. If I have it on defrost it blows out of the defrost a little but still mostly the front vents. It won't blow out of the foot wells at all. Today was the first day I've tried to use 4wd since I got it back, the switch light blinks and I can hear clicking but it doesn't work. Any
thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Check the small vacuum line that goes to the vacuum reservoir in the left fender. Forward of the hood hinge, rearward of the ABS unit, on the vertical panel. Should be a nipple for the vaccum line sticking out horizontally about 3/4". Tough to see, need to use the "eyes" in your fingers

I agree. sounds like lack of vacuum to the control panel.

What you have is the default for the HVAC controls. You have defrost and front vents to keep warm but no floor vents. This is by design..

Check the vacuum lines and the nipple suggested above

Yep. That was exactly it. Thank you! I don't know if this is allowed but I found a real short YouTube video showing just what you were talking about. Maybe someone else will find it as handy as I did. Once again, Thanks!
