2004 4.3 Blazer Spider Injector removal
#11
I just replaced my spider about a month ago, except I didnt use original ac delco parts. I ended up buying my unit from car quest. I think the price was $388.00 plus the mounting bracket was another $50.00. Followed the directions about the routing and have to admit everything went smooth and other than a slight vibration at idle ( which the truck had prior to the swap) the truck now starts and runs great and did I mention the noticeable power increase?

False alarm. Did some troubleshooting and the misfire/hard starting turned out to be bad plug wires. Replaced and now it runs like a top with the Delphi unit.
Sorry don't mean to hijack this thread. Just saying don't overlook the easy stuff...

Update: I finally got the injector insulators out of my intake. I made a tool that went in through the center of the insulator and hooked from the bottom on 2 sides and they pulled out with little trouble.
I've also purchased a Delphi FJ10565 spider injector unit for the 2004 blazer. Although most websites say it doesn't mate to a 2004 Blazer 4.3, it works fine. It installed perfect, didn't leak and now the car is up and running fine.
Thanks to all for you input..
