Default 2004 fog lights

I'm looking at installing some fog lights on my truck and want to put the switch in the stock location. When I take my dash apart, there is wiring already there as is I have fogs. It clips into a plastic catch but no actual electrical socket. Should I just tap into the fuse box or run all new wiring?

I ran new wiring to the front fog lights when I installed mine, found it easier to just buy a spot light wiring harness as it already came wired up with relay and in line fuse, didn't realy want to start mucking around with the blazers wiring just incase I stuffed something up.Our blazers down here have the rear fogs in the tail lights already and have a switch in the dash which I spliced into that turns them off when you turn the headlights off. It didn't take very long to set them up either.
This is a build thread I did https://blazerforum.com/forum/showth...t=37162&page=9
Hope it Helps

This is what I did. I actually modded the stock light switch to suit my lights.

It's quite normal as they make one set of wiring loom for all blazer, it's cheaper for the manufacture to make up one type of loom for all the models, alot of the time you will find connectors on the ends of looms that don't go anywhere.

I actually like the $130 ones plus you get the best of both worlds with spots or fogs.
