Default 2005 Blazer/transfer cases changing?

Hello All.This is my first post.I have 2005 2 door Blazer. It has 30,000KM.In my manual for service,it says to change my transfer case fluids if applicable at 83,000KM.When I go to change my oil (Mr Lube),they say every 24,000KM or two years. My manual does not have a time factor.Who is right?I should add my Blazer is a 4x4.These changes of the transfer cases is costly at around $320.00 .

The Owners manual is correct 83,000km (50,000 miles) No time is specified. Change Transfer Case fluid with Auto-Trak II only, it is blue in color. The change is not a difficult job, just a little messy. Your Transfer Case holds about 2 liters and GM sells it in 1 liter bottles ($8-12 each in the US) You can use a hose or cheap manual pump to change it yourself.

Caution: You must make sure you can get the FILL plug out before you remove the drain plug.
