Default 2nd gen rear wiper busted

OK, so on my 2004 2 door, i have a rear wiper that is currently busted... sort of.

One of the only times i took my truck to an automatic car wash, my wiper gets busted and the wash won't pay for it. Ok, cool. Heres the problem

when i turn on the wiper, it works.
It will start by doing the usual range of motion but slowly shifts to the right so after 5 minutes, its only wiping about 5 inches of my window.
Then, when i turn it off, it doesn't go back into its holder, it gets stuck on the catch (bracket?) and i have to manually put it down in the holder.

I can literally take my wiper out of the holder, pull it so its in the 6 o'clock position and also take it all the way around in a circle.

Any one know how to fix this without paying tons of money?

Pull the plastic cover off the pivot and look for a little nut holding it on. See if you can just tighten the nut.

If that doesn't work, you may have to remove it and see about either cleaning up the ridges on the drive spindle and reassemble and see if that helps.

Beyond that, you either can replace the arm or try some form of adhesive.

Here my suggestion/

Bad Wiper Switch,
Bad connection
Wire Break

Here a schematic of a 1997 rear wiper no big change

I'll be looking at it this month because I'm done with school and at my brother's house who has tool chests full of everything needed and more
