I changed my #3 by putting the spark plug socket on it and using an open end wrench to turn it out. Didn't have to or want to disconnect steering shaft or buy any new fangled gadgets.. It came out pretty easy just gotta work the wrench around. The socket has a hex head on the end of it. I forgot what size wrench it is but a pretty common size. Hopes this helps someone...anyone, LOL!
