Default 4hi 4 lo buttons

So i have a 1995 blazer, 4.3 L , automatic transmission. The problem im having is that when i start it up the 4hi button and the 4 lo button flash and the 4hi stays on. I have to put it in neutral and push the 2 wd buttton and then it all seems fine. Does anyone know what might be causing this to happen. I did have to drive to work in 4 hi the day it started and i drove about 8 miles in 4 hi. I never had an issue until now.

Default

might be the 4wd switch itself. or the 4wd sensor on the transfer case. my 95 hasn't done this so i don't really know but i would replace the transfer case sensor and see if it still does that
