Any idea where that ground might be...is there a list compiled with all their locations

TCCM ground is G205 in the photo below (for 2001).


Sorry! The ground exposed to weather was on full size trucks. The one on the Blazers is inside.

Today I'll take the tccm out and clean the connectors and put some dielectric grease on them and see if it makes a difference...I'll let u know...which tccmeans would u recommend l..a1 cardone?

I think Cardone is what I used when I replaced mine. What I found out is that there is a huge difference in price, depending where you get them. Local stores tend to be double the cost you can find them for on-line. I ended up doing a price matching with Summit Racing (you have to call them). I like Summit because no tax - 1-day ship to me, and they paid for shipping the core back. They will get pretty much anything that you want and match best price you can find and they have an excellent return policy. If it doesn't fix (or at least change) your problem, just replace the dielectric grease and send it back.


Be careful, the TCCM is specific for your 4WD system type. I think year and connector color is enough, but there is a service number on the original TCCM that you can use to match them and make sure you get the right one.

I checked out the tccm...it looks good...no water damage..connectors had no corrosion...I cleaned them and put that grease on there...pulled the 4wd fuse...and it does the same...I'm gonna do the cheap route n put a new 4x4 switch n see
