4WD Auto on 4Hi blinking - 2002 4dr

I took the box out and checked the contacts, it was some corrosion on the one with the thick four cables and on the other contact one was corroded.
I cleaned up a bit with CRC 5-56 (like WD 40) and it looked better.
How ever it didn't do any difference on the way it behaves.
I understand that there is a similar contact down on the gear box. I'll try to look at it tomorrow.
If this doesn't help, is the only solution to replace the TCCM and the

Those female terminals in the plug attached to wires are pretty badly corroded. The male ones on the TCCM can be scraped until they are clean and shiny. The terminals you need are female "Metri-pack 280" I would just solder them to the wire (not try to crimp). Here is a company in Sweden I found that sells them. https://se.farnell.com/en-SE/aptiv-f...80%20terminals I'm sure you can find others.
I still bet you also have a bad encoder motor as a result of the high electrical resistance from the corrosion making the encoder motor run on lower voltage. But making good connections is the first step to do.

At Rockauto.com I found a new connector for the TCCM. I'm also going to buy a new Transfer Case motor.
I guess this is the correct one: Transfer Case Motor | 600-901 | Transfer Case Shift Motor | Dorman Products
Took a picture of mine to see the connector.
Thanks

Yes, the 600-901 Dorman is the correct encoder motor for your vehicle. You will need to remove that driveshaft from the transfer case for access - it just pops out as you pry forward.
Make sure you solder all wires (don't use crimp connectors) when replacing that TCCM plug.
Remember don't try to run encoder motor to match up position with TC shaft. Move TC shaft to match up with encoder motor.
Best wishes for a successful repair.

Thanks for the quick reply,
I have ordered it and it will arrive on Tuesday, if it wasn't for the weekend it usually take two days when ordering from Rockauto.com. And it is less than half the cost compared to what a Swedish distributor takes, and in this case they didn't have it in stock.
Yes I normally solder the cables and add shrinksleeves to the connection.
I found some videos on Youtube on how to do the job, looks pretty simple to do.
Hope to have it back to normal on Wednesday.

Ok, this continue...
First DHL didn't receive the package from Rockauto so it was in limbo, Rockauto said that DHL had picked it up. Rockauto don't do anything about missing shipments until after a week so I got it Wednesday this week and not last week as supposed to.
Now I have changed the trans motor and the same problem is still here.
Since I had to put the transbox in Neutral to change the motor, I had to do that manually after I had removed the old one. The button panel showed it to be in Neutral when starting it and then I selected 2HI and it went in to 4WD Auto. Drove it a short bit and the Service 4WD light came on so I guess the problem is still there.
Next step would be to replace the control module and I will hopefully get it on Monday if ordering it today.
Thanks
