Pop your 4wd switch out of the dash and with it till plugged in and the ignition on, put pressure on the connectors and watch for the lights to come on, if they do then put the trans in neutral and see if it will shift out of 4lo, these switches tend to have cracked/broken solder joints inside, you can easily pop the switch apart and reflow them with a soldering iron. Its the joints on the main connector pins.
If thats not the problem then you need to pull the front driveshaft and remove the transfer case shift motor and shift the transfer case by turning the actuator stub that sticks into the shift motor, i think fully clockwise is 2HI. MAKE SURE YOU BLOCK THE WHEELS if you do this because you will pass the transfer cases neutral position and the vehicle will be free to roll even if the transmission is in park. This is only a temporary fix but will get you back on the road in a pinch, you will not be able put the shift motor back on but it wont hurt anything. I think you can actually leave the front driveshaft out if you want, until you get your electrical issue figured out.
Hope this helps
